Thinking of St. Patricks Day, the developer thought again about a Pilgrims Office which was considered when she was in Northern Ireland (2016 to 2022). So, she thought she would introduce a virtual Pilgrims Office. You can get your passport to the North Highland Way, and the churches on it here and get it stamped at the places mentioned on our map. You will need to click each dot on the north coast… but Spar shops in Durness and Castletown, Co ops in Thurso and Wick and the Bettyhill camp site and of course, at John o Groats.

If you want to walk the Pilgrims Way, you can start at Helmsdale. The more signatures we can get, the better paths. You could also sign our petition for the whole of the North Highland Way. There is a great description of the route in Rob Gibson’s book The Highland Clearances available from Luath Press.
